Over the past 20+ years I have helped people prepare for, build, and maintain strong, passionate, and enduring relationships. In addition I have served in several capacities to help couples and individuals as a relationship coach and a church through the pre-marital counseling ministry and married ministry. In addtion I have also completed level 1 of the the Gottman relationship training. I am trained on and use the Prepare-Enrich relationship inventory, and I'm the author of a book on sex and love addiction "I Once Had a Date Named Lust."

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$200 priviate pay

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically we start by completing an intake form to provide baseline information including your goals for life coaching or relationship coaching. Then we work together to develop a plan to address your goals along wih milestones and benchmarks.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Completed life coaching certification in 2008. Completed executive coaching training in 2011. Conducted lay counseling as an ordained church offider. My wife and I led the pre-marital counseling ministry and the married ministry. I have completed level 1 of the Gottman Relationship training. I've also compelted the Prepare Enrich relationship training system. As a life coach and relationship coach I have been working with individuals and singles and couples for over 20 years. I have also written a book about relationships: I Once Had a Date Named Lust: Breaking Free from Sex and Love Addiction.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started as a life coach through what I learned in trying to find answers to help myself and close friends. My work as a relationship coach began as an outgrowth of discorving why my first relationships continued to fail.

What types of customers have you worked with?

For the life coaching work, I have worked with focused, dedicated indificuals seeking to enhance their effectiveness with their work and career, and those who have focused too much on work and have lost their sense of self in the process. For the relationship coaching, much of my work has been done with couples who are preparing themselves for a greater level of commitment in their relationship (such as pre-marital coaching) and those who already have a solid relationshp, but want to continue to maintain the passion. I have alro worked with those to have had to deal with issues of pornography or infidelity. Many have found my book to be helpful. The book is entitled: entitled I Once Had a Date Named Lust: Breaking Free from Sex and Love Addiction.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One recent project that I worked on involved helping a client couple to recognize and value the contributions of spouse which enhanced their appreciation for one another. This process also helped them to have a greater emotional and physical connection.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for someone who has the ability to truly see and understand you. An effective coach needs to be able to fully understand your strengths, challenges, and situational factors. And throughout the process help you to see solutions after the non-essential mental and emotional distractions are removed.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What are the goals that you want to achieve? Why are those goals important to you? What will your life be like and how will you feel if you don't acheive those goals? How important is it to you to achieve those goals; i.e. what are you wiling to pay in time and effort to achieve those goals?
