At Hope & Healing Marriage Services, Rev. Dr. Roberta J. Wilburn brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every ceremony and counseling session. With over 25 years as an ordained minister, she has served in Christian and Christ-centered non-denominational churches in Memphis, TN, Spokane, WA, and Odenton, MD. Dr. Wilburn holds a doctoral degree in education from George Washington University and a Doctorate in Christian Counseling from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. Her background includes teaching counselor education at Whitworth University and Christian Counseling at Jacksonville Theological Seminary, Midsouth Campuses. This extensive experience uniquely qualifies her to guide couples with empathy, depth, and professionalism. Whether through premarital counseling or officiating, Rev. Dr. Wilburn offers a blend of spiritual insight, practical guidance, and genuine care to each couple she serves.

I bring the experience of being married 55 years and counseling for the past 45 years. Certified in Imago Couple Therapy and Qualified in Life Coaching and Matrix Therapies, I integrate these methodologies to provide a comprehensive and personalized counseling experience. In addition, we also counsel gender specific to meet the needs of our clients. We schedule provide some evening and weekend appointments to accommodate our clients. After three decades of marriage, raising children, and living life, we understand no one is perfect! Utilizing our education, compassion, and empathy, along with our life experiences, we are relatable. With our faith based component, the bible is our final authority, when it comes to life’s difficult challenges, especially in marriage and relationships.
