Introduction

Why hire me, because I'm good? The best, no, just good at what I do. I try not to waste your time and money. I teach conflict resolution, communication, grief coping, trauma, intimacy, premarital counseling. My Sessions are not timed, one flat rate. Unfortunately, I am not accepting insurance. Sessions are conducted in person, virtual (via Zoom) or phone, whichever way works best for you. Sessions begin and close with prayer and I rely on the Holy Spirit. Your information is confidential. I am nonjudgmental and no finger pointing. I do have a sense of humor so If you say something funny, I may laugh. Contact me today if you are ready. Think, if what you are doing is not working, why keep doing it? Author of the Book: How to Love Your Wife (J.A. MYERS) Hey Can We Talk (J. A. MYERS)

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is very affordable, I work out of my local church so my overhead is low, plus my education was paid for using my military benefits so there are no student loans to pay back.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
An initial FREE session is conducted over the phone to determine if you feel I can help you reach your desired objective. This is when you interview me, ask questions and I answer them to put you at ease. Once you are at ease and want to move forward, we pick a date and time and start. I do not complicate the simple, there is no judging, no I cannot believe that happened, or no how could you. I just listen and offer suggestions I believe will work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Masters degree in pastoral counseling from Liberty University, 30 years in the ministry and counseling. I am also quick to listen and slow to speak, at times.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I was called by God, no other way to explain. I have been counseling individuals and families for over 35 years. I saw how people were hurting and many did not have the help they needed so God called me and here I am.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Old, young, dating couples, married couples, and most of all, hurting couples.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Reuniting a couple when the husband had moved out. It was not me but the grace of God that guided me to help restore trust in each other. This is an on going process, because once trust is lost, it has to be rebuilt and that takes time.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Pray to see if this is where God is leading you. You also get what you pay for. Look at the reviews, and most of all, do you want help or just someone to tell you that you are right? A counselor in my opinion is not there to decide to who is wrong, the couples usually know that before they come in. Counselors are to guide people to the healing God has prepared for them.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Am I willing to start with me first before asking my spouse or loved ones to change? No matter what, in healing each one has to go through a change. That change is usually repenting, forgiving, trusting, and most of all praying.
