What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Attention to Detail Moving prides itself in offering the most competitive industry-wide rates. For every job, we always send an estimator prior to providing a quote to the client in order to get a full scope of work. Our local estimates are all based off your moving needs. A big concern to our customers is long-distance moving, with travel conditions being so volatile we want to ensure peace of mind by offering binding flat rate guaranteed quotes for any and all long distance moves. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Moving is tough enough as it is. We make it as easy as possible. Our initial phone call consists of us gathering basic information about the client and their moving needs, and we immediately look to set them up with one of our estimators to do an immediate walk-through either in-home or virtually. Once the walk-through is complete, we build a game plan for the move and get your move done!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Attention to Detail Moving has been around for over a decade. With over 25,000 families moved, our experience in moving is second to none. We offer fully trained and background-checked employees for every move. Our trucks will always come equipped with all material needed to tackle any move regardless of size, be it local, long distance, commercial, packing, anything moving-related we've got you covered from A to Z.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Attention to Detail Moving has had its humble beginnings. Starting as a gentle transition company for senior moving, the entire vision of Attention to Detail was started inside of a garage. Through hard work and undying commitment to our clients, you have helped us grow into a nationwide trusted moving company. We look forward to helping you with your next move.

What types of customers have you worked with?

With over 10 years' experience in this business we have come across all types of personalities. From families of 5+ moving across the United States, celebrities moving from one estate to another, to assisting the elderly transition into their retirement homes, we do and have seen it all. We can't wait to meet you.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently, we had the pleasure of packing, moving and storing a famous musician. The house was filled with odd-shaped art, sculptures and memorabilia that are vital pieces of music history. It's an honor to be entrusted to hold these pieces. Definitely one for the books.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

One huge piece of advice we would give everyone is to be extremely thorough in providing the inventory. A change in inventory could mean a big change in price. We avoid this by providing an in-home or virtual survey of each residence/property. Always ask for an in-home or virtual assessment. DO NOT give your inventory over the phone, your price will change.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Understand what services you are looking for. Decide whether you are packing yourself, or will require packing assistance. Make sure that you discuss all fees with the company you are researching. There could be hidden fees written into the quote. Also make sure that the moving company is authorized, always ask that they have their DOT number, MC number, PUC number and that they are authorized and licensed.
