What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our rate is $150/hr for 2 movers with a 2 hr minimum with very few exceptions. Any additional movers are $50/hr extra. Distances over 10 miles cost $3/mi. Items weighing over 250 lbs are another $100 on top of the hourly rate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We ask some questions to get as much information about the job. Discuss any details and give a rough estimate of the price based on our experience.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our movers have backgrounds from previous moving services. We know how to pack and transport your fragile and important items with professionalism and timeliness.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with all sorts of homeowners, renters, realtors, interior designers, and other businesses.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We moved a 26' truck full of real antique furniture all very heavy and fragile. It included some very large outdoor street lamps on a marble base, buffet tables, couches, mirrors and more. We created crates for three large chandeliers that we removed from a furniture store. It took 2 days to pick everything up from multiple locations and deliver to the final location.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

As much time in advance that you can provide is best. We have a schedule and need to make sure we can have the right team for each job. Especially with bigger jobs.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Am I giving a full scope of what this job is? Did I leave out any important details or items that should be included in the description of my move? Specifically for heavy items or locations with stairs, have you moved these items before? if so, how many guys were on the job?
