What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I’ll provide a quote based on the information provided by the customer. I’ll have a text written out with an “Agreement of Payment” upon arrival where I’ll detail our discussion, so that we are on the exact same page financially. When I arrive to the job, I’ll do a walk thru just to make sure the information provided for the estimate marches what is actually entailed for the job. After that, I’ll send the agreement of payment and you just message back, “Agreed,” and we will begin right away. With this method, I NEVER have any issues settling up at the end of the job because the work will speak for itself.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have over 5 years experience of running my own jobs and my guys all have 3 years experience minimum. I was well trained by someone who was the best in the moving business so I have developed a strong system/team of expertise, knowledge, and experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I began when I first moved to florida back in 2018. I had a box truck for a different company I had back in St Louis, Mo but I didn’t have the financial resources to restart it. I started doing freelance moving before I got lucky to find a guy who had a absolute passion for moving and I sponged in a ton of moving knowledge and techniques from him.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve done commercial and residential moving. I’ve moved small apartments to big mansions. Sometimes I’ll do smaller odd jobs that other companies will turn down just to help out and get your business for something bigger in the future.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don’t look for the cheapest mover because there’s a reason why people will market themselves for a lower price, the quality of work and knowledge of moving will be lacking. There is an art to doing moving to perfection.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The questions should come from the mover and the answers should come from the customer. A mover should know all the questions to ask because most customers are not knowledgeable of all the questions for moving properly. By doing this, the mover can prepare the customer for both the move and set up the discussion of pricing based on the information provided for the estimate.
