Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
3% Fee - Per Credit/Debit Card Transaction 3% Fee - Per Venmo Transaction 1 Hour Flat Travel Fee

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1. We love to answer all of the clients questions through thumbtack and when they feel comfortable enough to book, we will get the specific information needed. 2. Through messaging, we'll discuss the bulky items, pickup and drop-off locations, any packing material needs, and to give a general idea of what to expect on moving day. 3. On the day of the move, we'll call the client when we're 10 minutes away so they're prepared to receive us and we can get to work. 4. The Moving Clock starts when we meet and stops when the last item is set down in the drop-off location. 5. Since we're on the clock, the client can ask us to perform any other related tasks such as the assembly and disassembly of appliances and furniture. It's your time to get what you need done and we're happy to help.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Years of experience with a large van line as well as 4 years in business.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I worked for a large Van Line in College which gave me the professional moving experience. The most important part of this time is that I studied the customer service department and found many flaws and shortcomings which I knew I could improve if I was to own a similar business. Between my hands-on experience and education, I found that this industry could use a trustworthy, customer focused moving company which is what we have become.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Only the best. We love to interact with our clients as it's a great way to brighten the mood on one of life's most challenging days, moving day. We strive to make it easy and stress-free.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Every job has its unique challenges which allows us to be fond of them all. We thoroughly enjoy our work and the relief it provides to our clients.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be sure that you're hiring a professional with the proper credentials to be doing business in Massachusetts. Each moving company must be approved by the MA Department of Public Utilities to do business locally. This department ensures that the movers hold a high level of insurance both on the truck and cargo along with workers compensation coverage. Do your research and hire a PRO like Next Adventure Moving!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It's important to ask what's included with each charge. Always ask this question and confirm details before signing your moving contract.
