What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1) As the customer, it is important to first gather all information related to the upcoming move including: - Moving Date - Size / Volume of the move (Preferably an Inventory List) - Pickup and Delivery addresses - Contact Details 2) Based on the above information, one of our Relocation Specialists will provide an accurate estimate. 3) Once a customer chooses to schedule their move with us, the date is confirmed and a deposit is taken.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Upon hiring, all employees go through a rigorous in house training program to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide for a safe and efficient move. Additionally, all employees are reviewed annually for performance and competency based on the latest industry standards.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
The moving business is something of a family tradition. Both the owner's uncle and father were professional movers, as well as several brothers and cousins. You could say moving is in our blood!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with customers of all backgrounds and nationalities. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind, and strive to ensure all customers are treated with respect and dignity.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Moving our senior customers can be both heartbreaking and rewarding. Unfortunately, many are without family nearby and are often dealing with hardship or loss. We recently assisted a lovely elderly customer who was moving into assisted living after the loss of her husband. Since she was having to downsize drastically, the possessions she was keeping were especially precious to her. Because of this, our crew took extra time to allow her the be present for the packaging of her late husbands personal effects. The gratitude and happiness shone through as she personally hugged and thanked each crew member. Upon recognizing the needs of the customer, everyone slowed their pace to make the move comfortable for our client. Customer service really is what it it all about.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
1. Check reviews, references and background information of the potential moving company before hiring. 2. In order to get an accurate estimate, moving companies should have the following information: - Moving Date - Pick up and delivery addresses - If there are any stairs at either location - If there are any large/heavy items involved in the move (such as Pianos, Safes, and other non standard household items) - Inventory List 3. Upon making a decision, ensure you get contact information for the Relocation Specialist handling your move.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. When would I like to move? 2. Is my date flexible? 3. What is my budget? 4. Will I need full or partial packing? 5. Do I have any over-sized items?
