What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We have two pricing systems, flat-rate move or hourly move. |Flat Rate| Flat-rate is the flat estimate, based on the information you provided to us. Flat-rate quotes are being calculated in a guaranteed pricing system and our quotes are based on: -list of items you provide to us (furniture, boxes, items that require special handling, stairs) -distance between locations (pick up - delivery) -our availability for day you requested |Hourly Prices| The clock for the labor starts once the movers arrive at the pick up location and the clock ends when whey finish setting up your items at the delivery location. Our hourly prices are: 2 people and a van - $120.00 3 people and a van - $160.00 Any additional man is $40.00 per hour. The minimum to book the hourly move is 2 hours of labor and 0.5 hours of travel time.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First of all, we will go over the details with you in order to provide you with an accurate price and to better understand your moving needs. We will make sure to understand your moving needs and we will do our best to not mislead you with the price and to provide you with an exceptional services. We will answer all of your questions and we will treat you as a family.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are excited to offer you the best possible moving experience. With years of experience in various roles, in the moving business we understand what makes customers happy and how to deliver an exceptional moving service. We know that moving can be a stressful experience, but with Magical Moving, you can expect a peaceful and unforgettable move. We have been in the business for over five years, and there is nothing unfamiliar to us regarding the moving business. Whether your move is small or big, we can handle it with ease. Our team is well-equipped to handle any complicated items, and we are here to answer all of your questions to make your move stress-free.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I moved to New York, I started working for one of the biggest moving companies here in the Big Apple. My initial position was as a helper. Not long after I started, I realized that this was my favorite job that I would like to do in the future. I loved moving people with a smile. Knowing how stressful moving is, I tried to take all the stress from the people and show them that everything is always stress-free at the end. I went through many positions, starting with helper, driver, foreman, salesman, operation manager, and finally landing as a business owner.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We worked with all customers who needs moving services. We are doing our best to provide the seamless and stress-free moving experience. Doesn't matter if you are moving one item or it's a big 5 bedroom home, we can do it for you.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We have a lot of moves, everyday and all of them are different. Studio usually takes 2-3 hours to be moved. 1 bedroom apartment 2-4 hours to be moved. 2 bedroom apartment 3-6 hours to be moved. 3 bedroom apartment 4-7 hours to be moved. 4 and 5 bedroom apartment 6-8 hours to be moved.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important thing is to make sure that your moving company is licensed, that means that they have all required insurances, as well as they are regulated by department of transportation to do any type of jobs and that your move will be stress-free.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

First of all is important to ask what is included in the quote from your moving company. It's important that company is licensed and insured as well, in case of any damages that means that you are dealing with professionals. Magical Moving is fully licensed and insured! We are licensed from NYDOT and USDOT and we have insurance to work in any of the buildings in United State!
