Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
As a thank you to our nations veterans we offer a military discount.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
In order for us to quote a job, we just need the address that you're moving from, moving to, and an item list!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Both of our owners have experience in the industry & working in similar roles. Nate used to work as a mover, and Nick used to work in junk removal. Both Nicholas & Nate hold a bachelor's degree in business.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We saw an opportunity for a moving company to exist that prioritizes above average customer service on every job.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all customers, from small apartment moves to large 5+ bed room home moves to different states.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Our team recently finished a very complicated project that we're very proud of. We had signed a contract based on an initial inventory list, during the move the customer added multiple items on different occasions, and lastly added a pool table in the basement which is very difficult to move. Our team was able to manage the constantly changing order as well as the heavy pool table successfully.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice would be to make sure the list of items being moved is correct and accurate. I've seen on here specifically numerous examples of a moving company providing a low bid based on a very vague item list, then once the work is being done requiring a change order that are often expensive. Make sure to do your homework!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should think about when specifically they want to be moved, and also what an accurate list of items & boxes being moved is. As a mover, this makes things less complex for us. It's also important to know little details such as how many flights of stairs are there? Are the properties easily accessible with a large truck?
