Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
For smaller jobs I have a 2 hour minimum Discounts up to 15% for referral of friends or family The bigger the job the more flexibility for discounts

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I am a larger person but don’t let that scare you, I am always smiling and laughing so don’t be shy to be a new customer! The process is simple, get in contact with me through thumbtack, I will get in contact with you to go over your job, I will schedule a date, go over job specifics, and will send you an estimate or ask you to come to the job site to give you a free estimate. From there feel free to text, call, leave a message about anything job specific!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have over 6 years experience in this field of work. Non related but I also am an FAA certified drone pilot. I am continuously working on training myself and education to be the best I can at any given task.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started this type of work in high school to make some extra money during the summers. I got my degree from Kutztown university in sports management but had a hard time finding a job I had a passion for. I continued doing my high school summer job as a full time employee and worked my way to the top. There was no more room for growth so I decided to switch careers into surveying. While surveying is very fun for me to do and learn about I still missed the connections with people and faces at jobs. I decided to open my business while also doing a full time land surveyor job and that’s what I do today!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Home owners, small private companies, contractors, commercial.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be very cautious of scammers. The Delaware county and surrounding areas have a lot of people in this area and can be sometimes be deceiving with online profiles, estimates, or invoices from people within this area. Always stand your ground with contractors!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The scope of work in full detail without missing anything major, nothing is more frustrating than having big tasks added last minute. Have an idea of how much something like this may cost and if you get an estimate just remember that there is out of pocket expenses the business owner may incur from your job! Lastly payment, for bigger jobs a down payment may be required to help fund some of the business owners expenses for your job; Always discuss before the work is done how the company owner is getting paid before doing the work. This eliminates any confusion when payment in full is due
