What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We may not be the cheapest movers on Thumbtack… but I bet we are one of the best and worth the extra dollars!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We get the addresses, items list, and date and time desired for move. Once we have those pieces of information, we provide a quote and accept a deposit. Final payment is due at completion of work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been moving professionally for the last 8 years including for a major company to gain the training needed to run this company and serve people at a top tier rate.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

8 years ago I was delivering appliances and my customer was so satisfied they asked if I’d come back after work and give an estimate on moving them to Alabama from Franklin, TN. Not only did we move them… we moved the family they sold their home in Nashville to! The rest is history as they say!

What types of customers have you worked with?

All races, creeds, and sexual orientations. Groovin and Movin does not discriminate and super serves all of our customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We built a Pac-Man arcade game for two brothers I used to coach at basketball. It took us 2 hours and they love the game!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check for reviews not just good pricing!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

If they come with moving equipment and experienced workers.
