Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We charge by the hour , no extra fees for flights of stairs, wrapping , or to assemble/disassemble. We do off a 10% discount for returning clients and referrals

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I introduce myself, ask what items we will be moving, educate them on the process and what we will be doing to ensure the safety of their belongings, and begin to work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Before working for a moving company, I’ve worked for FedEx for years loading and unloading trucks. This made me a great packer and made moving easy for me as soon as I started in this field.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I moved back to New York from Georgia a few years back and needed a job. I found a moving company that was hiring and I learned the business inside and out. This ultimately led me to start my own moving company and turn a job into a career.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We’ve worked with all type of clients. If you can think of it we worked with em. We get the job done at all costs regardless what the situation entails.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently moved an entire massage spa from one location to another due to the fact the lease was up. The job took about 6 hours and although the dropoff address was a 5 floor walk up , we got the job done in a timely manor. The client was extremely happy and appreciative. This is what we do it for, the satisfaction of our customers.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The best way to get good movers is through a good recommendation, if someone refers specific movers it usually works out better. Do your homework/research.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is the date and time they’re planning to move ? How much time the think the job will take ? How many movers are required to the move properly?
