From our gentle, yet expert packing, delivery and reassembling of the piano. We take pride in our timely and accurate service. We also provide piano specific moving insurance. With regular furniture moving companies, insurance is 60 cents on the pound. As an example: Let’s say your piano in today’s market cost $5000 and weighs 400 pounds and a furniture moving company damages the piano beyond repair. You would only receive $240 dollars from the furniture moving company's insurance. With Metroplex Piano Moving If your piano in today's market appraises for $5000, you would get $5000 not $240. We provide market value! (Though in our 15 years of existence we have never had to pay out a client for a damaged piano beyond repair. ) ***Base prices listed online do not include certain variables such as moving up/ down flights of stairs. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing are base prices for basic flat roll piano moves. If there are steps 2 or more that are consecutive steps, the price will increase by $10 a step. About 95% of the time we can avoid the steps by going through the garage or a back entrance that are flat rolls. There is also a mileage charge for longer distances piano moves. WE DO NOT CHARGE A FUEL SURCHARGE!!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When working with a new client total transparency is key. We need to know all variables of the piano move. Such as where the piano will be moved from and to zip codes. If there are any porch steps, walkway steps or a flight of stairs. We also need to know the make and model of the piano.
