Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is straightforward. You pay an hourly rate per mover and after our two hour minimum we only bill in 15 minute increments. We charge a flat rate for gas for the moving trucks. We have a 2-hour minimum in area and a 3-hour minimum out of area.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
After a horrible moving experience from NYC to SLC, we wanted to know if it was possible to provide customers with exceptional service at an affordable rate. We proved it is and was. Helping people and making our customers happy is our top priority.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We specialize in home, apartment, and office moving. We are also happy to assist with moving heavy furniture around your home or help with product assembly. Our guys work fast and are highly professional to accommodate any of your moving and delivery needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We moved a single mom with 4 kids to her first home. She was on a very tight budget so we donated a portion of our services to her and set up a payment plan she could afford for the balance.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you are using a licensed and insured moving company. There are many companies out there that are neither licensed or insured. They simply rent a U-haul, use inexperienced movers and in the end cost you a lot more because you will be responsible for lost or damage items. Don't be fooled by a lower hourly rate that uninsured and unlicensed movers charge. These guys hire inexperienced movers and pay them a very low rate. It is worth it to pay a little more per hour and use a company with moving professionals who are licensed and insured.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The lowest price is often NOT the best deal. Many movers use tactics when offering a lower price by moving slowly and padding the time, therefore costing you more in the end.
