What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing is 100$ per hour this price includes 2 loaders and a truck. The time starts upon arrival to your pick-up destination and ends when we carry in the last item into your drop-off location.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We text and call to gather information about the client's needs, inform him of the rate, and tell him a bit about the process of moving itself and how we work. Then we gather information such as address, and email and put him on our Google calendar. Our client is also included in the calendar so he gets reminders a week before, a day before, and an hour before.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been working as a mover since college and have developed a great way for students to earn extra income. We have a two-week trained class program where we learn how to move and get hands-on experience. All of our employees are drug-free, very polite, and trained to the highest standards.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

In college, when I was low on money and lacked flexibility, I decided to start a moving business as a way to earn income while simultaneously building my personal brand by offering high-quality service with no hidden fees.

I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life, including the head PR manager of Nvidia, an owner of multiple banks, a two-hotel owner in downtown, and even charitable organizations, such as Goodwill and various community-driven initiatives supporting those in need.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently, we organized a charity drive for a client who wanted to donate some furniture to a woman in need with a child. The job didn’t take long, but it was incredibly fulfilling—it made me feel truly connected to the community, and it was a rewarding experience to give without expecting anything in return.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check for insurance, ask questions about how they calculate the price, and what other charges to expect once the job is done.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I highly recommend considering what furniture you have—do you need to take it all with you, or can some be donated? Additionally, think about how many beds and furniture pieces will need disassembly and reassembly. It’s also a good idea to inquire about insurance options.
