Introduction

I am deeply passionate with providing 100% of my effort, artistic skills, and compassion to work with whatever design, or art related job that my customer envisions. I specialize in fine art commissions, as well as large scale interior or exterior murals, live event painting, as well as art lessons. As a newly graduate from Hunter College in New York City, I am on the path to deliver my main passion of art to enhance the world. I have been doing art business work for about 4 years, and recently established my LLC in the Bay Area, California. Please don't hesitate with any further questions.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I am very fair based on budget the customer has, and according to level of detail of the design. I am willing to work with anyone, so no budget is too small. Discounts will be given to my first 5 customers here on thumbtack, which is 15% off the original price.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The first step is meeting online for 15 mins via zoom, to meet and see if we can work out an exact design, size, and placement for your mural or project. If you don't know of this information, I can create a mock up design after our call with up to 3 edits, and plan out the rest for a design fee which is part of the deposit. Then, we can schedule a date and time, 1/2 of payment is needed prior to starting, and the second half after it is complete. I will continuously send you updates and see if I can improve upon anything as I go.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have had 4 years of art business experience, via selling my originals, creating custom canvas art, doing collaborative murals, and recently have graduated with a Bachelors in Studio Art from Hunter College in Manhattan, NYC. I also have experience with doing past mural jobs in New York City, as well as working alongside a small business for art lessons for children at Claires Creative Art Adventures. There, I leaned a lot about the art world and how to better help others learn the craft of artistry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I always have been into art since I was in high school. I knew I needed to pursue a profession in this, so I went to college originally for art therapy, then switched my course to general studies and majored in studio art, so I can potentially go back for a MA in art education or even still for art therapy. However, I have been called to do my own combination of art related work after my BA graduation, being selling originals, doing canvas commissions, murals, live event painting, and art instruction. I would absolutely love to continue to have this be my full time career.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with a broad range of people, being from little kids in art lessons, up to matured adults looking to commission me for their project. I have recently worked for business owners looking to do some promotional work for their business, which was for the famous Baby John at Cafe Palermo in NYC, as well as another owner of several stores and food industries in the city.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I am fond of a recent service I did which was a group art lesson in the park. This was a perfect day of sun, relaxation, and art painting on canvases together. We worked in a quaint group of 6 people, and It was the best experience. The whole project took 2 hours with set up and clean up, and the end result was perfect mandala art.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would say to look into not only their quality of work, but their passion for their art and for people. Look for a kind person that is willing to work with whatever budget or style of design the customer has in mind. This will foresee if they will be pleasurable to work with.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
They should defiantly think about the size of their project, and if they would like it to be more detailed, or more towards the abstract side of things. Also, about the time in which they would like the service to be completed.
