My name is Darryl I've been a professional Painter for 30yrs at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Commercial and Residential Painting Interior, exterior, cabinets, and dry wall. I am an on time "ready to hit the ground running" type of guy. I offer free estimates. I am fully vaccinated against COVID and will wear a mask (if requested). Any paint/drywall job you have, me and my crew can get it done. I am honest, clean, efficient and worth it. I will work with you to make sure you are getting what you need and what your are asking for.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I'm an honest guy, i will look at the scope of work and talk to you about the cost of the project and in most cases I know something can be worked out to satisfaction of both of us.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to meet with the customer to see the job site and talk about what the customer's needs are for the job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a Painter with the State of California for over 20yrs. I have several certifications (from the state), regarding proper safety measures, hazards, and an abundance of other certs. in order to be in compliance with state regulations.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have blue collar family and when I was much younger and starting a family my dad recommended that I begin an apprentice program for a trade, so at the time I was a new employee for the trades at Cal. State Northridge, they needed a guy in the Paint shop and my apprentice ship immediately began. All of my teachers were "old school" painters, so they never accepted sub-par performance or workmanship. I learned at the feet of one of the best painters I've ever seen.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with all types of customers, and I always enjoy new projects and new experiences.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am very proud of all or my projects. Projects generally can take up to a week to finish (depending on the size of the project). I have a crew of painters (who also work at Cal State) and we can and will tackle any job that comes our way.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would advise a customer to talk with the tradesman about the scope the scope of work for the project needed. Nothings impossible we can transform any project into something amazing.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do some online research, look at paint (colors and cost), think about man-power and other supplies associated with the project. Think about transforming a room or an entire house (both outside and inside), into a seemingly brand-new dwelling.
