What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I price my work fairly based on the time and effort I put into it, and based on my years of experience. That said there’s always room to be honest about your budget and I can always find a solution to make it work for both parties.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Really just to ask every question related to the project I can think of because the more info the better.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Completed AP art in high school with the highest grade on my end of year judged art portfolio, then took a handful of classes in college, my favorite was color theory.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been painting since I was a kid, and fell in love with doing graffiti / murals in my early teenage years, which lead to doing a lot of sign work, murals for local businesses and much more.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Everyone from families who want a mural in home to small business to painting on a three story scaffolding in the offices at YouTube, I can work with anyone who wants something created.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The Cellarmaker truck! Was a lot of work creating the design and painting all three sides but was so happy with the outcome. Probably 25-30 hours of work. Some people thought the designs were a vinyl wrap 🤣 I was proud to inform them it was painted.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would say to just provide all info necessary and also to be a little flexible as some murals require adapting to different elements and circumstances through out the process of creating a mural.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Just whether or not they are certain they want a mural is the most important, and are they comfortable with it being a collaborative effort if they don’t have a design yet.
