What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have an initial consultation fee of $100. If hired for the project, this $100 goes towards the cost of the mural. After that i build the estimates for murals based on two main variables, size of mural (by square foot) and level of detail/difficulty. This ranges anywhere from $10 sq ft to $35 sq ft.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

With all my clients I like to have an initial conversation, over phone or text, whichever they prefer. Then I like to meet with the client in the space they are looking to have the mural done so that I can communicate with the client about their wants/needs/ideas/style, make any recommendations for the space, and get an accurate understanding of the space so that I can build a more precise estimate.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have painted all my life on a wide variety of surfaces. Working with me means you get the benefits of all my knowledge and experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been an artist, but got my start at murals on my own walls and from there I jumped to painting for family and friends.

What types of customers have you worked with?

So far I have worked with small businesses and family homes. I am always open to working with anyone in need of a muralist and love a challenge. 🙂

Making my clients ideas come to life makes every new project I take on unique and exciting.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be open about communicating with your muralist exactly what you want, or that you aren’t sure what you want. Any great muralist will be able to communicate/guide you to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for in a mural.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Details that your muralist will need: - location of mural - size of mural - any pictures of what you want to have painted (if you have them) - if not sure what you want done, be prepared to answer questions and communicate back and forth with your muralist about what you want painted. - how flexible you are on what days and times your muralist can work on the mural. - if you need it done by a certain date, make sure your muralist is aware of this.
