Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We charge based on cabinet size, age and condition. There are a surprising amount options and ways to go in a project. Every single situation is different. there is no cookie cutter way to do it. We are so happy to partner with you and walk you through what is best for YOU, from simple repaints, to full door/drawerface and hinge/slides replacement. We can even connect you with the best countertop and tile professionals and work with them on timelines.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Connect, set up FREE in-home quote. Lock in the project details and dates. Typical timeline: Monday: Pull all doors/drawer faces, degrease, prep/mask etc. Tuesday: paint faceframes/boxes (don't worry about completely emptying your cabinets) remove masking if possible. products dry to touch that evening. Wednesday: Take doors/drawer faces to our spray shop. Repeat the prep process for doors Thursday: finish doors/drawer faces Friday: Reinstall doors and drawer faces, and let you get back to your life, now with an elevated kitchen or bathroom.

We are a co-owner partnership of family men and passionate craftsmen. Jef has an extensive 12 year career in painting, and Elijah has an extensive 15 year history in construction, cabinetry, and fine finish carpentry. Together we can help solve all of your cabinet upgrade problems with a degree of excellence rarely found in general painters or general carpenters.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Jef and Elijah teamed up after both families returned to Colorado, and found they could fulfill their deep desire to bless the community on Northern Colorado with quality home improvement experiences by teaming up and sharing the expertise of cabinetry and painting to create a perfect company for those seeking an easy and effective cabinetry upgrade.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with every type of customer, from those in need of fast upgrades for a bump in resale value, to those who desire to take their dream homes to the next level with dream cabinet finishing.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We leave every finished job feeling so blessed to have a happy customer who gets to live in a vastly improved space without having to deal with a massive kitchen remodel.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
DON'T hire a general painter. The level of detail required to make sure your cabinets turn out great and STAY great comes at a great cost of time, experience and equipment investment. Don't trust the company who will spray your exterior, roll your walls, and offer to do your cabinets too.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What are your expectations? Do you want the cheapest and fastest transformation, or the most in-depth and extensive? Most find it is somewhere in between. What materials do you have, and are they in good shape? If it's oak, you should see what painted oak looks like since the grain pattern always remains visible under paint. If your cabinets need extensive repair, would you want to entertain new doors and drawer faces? The cost is usually just a bit more, but can REALLY transform your kitchen to looking like brand new cabinetry. Often times we can provide soft close doors and even sometimes soft close drawers (with a little more involvement).
