Introduction

I love to paint and brighten up residential and commercial space with color! It is my goal to make sure you are 100% satisfied from inquiry to installation. I specialize in artwork featuring water, light, and sea turtles; but I love a challenge and to work "outside the box." From princesses, to ocean views, to dinosaurs, to Tuscan hills-let me bring your dream place to you.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
🌅I charge $200/hour for all mural jobs and include the price of the paint when the mural is under 100sqft. 🧑‍🎨For large murals, over 100sqft, I charge a material fee that fluctuates depending on job. 🌌 I do charge a travel fee for distance jobs of $100/day, plus any tolls that are accrued. I may wave this fee at my discretion. 🌴I have a $2000 minimum to book for mural work and an $800 minimum for small projects. 🧑‍🎨 For the client that is unsure of direction, I offer a design and consult for $350. With this, we figure out exactly what the client wants before paint goes on a wall. You get a sketch with your to three changes. This fee is separate from the mural fee and down payment to get on the calendar.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to have measurements and surface pictures to better provide estimates, but mostly it is just conversation. I try to be clear, concise and quick. We talk about what you want, what you don’t want, whether you need a concrete design ahead of time, etc.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been a self taught artist (painting and drawing) for nearly 30 years. I've been professional for 13 years and full time for 5. Please see my photos for references of my work!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I love to paint!!! I will paint on anything, given the chance!! This has been my personality my whole life. I just paint and paint and paint! I’ve always been a free spirit and, like many, don’t do well in the corporate world. I just wanted to make people smile and bring some beauty into the world.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All kinds, from all professions, of all ages and walks of life. Small jobs and large jobs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Please understand that art is not cheap! Nor should it be. You will get what you pay for! We understand that you have a budget to work with, and we have bills to pay, as well. Please keep that in mind when you first reach out or are trying to negotiate a price. Whatever you do to take care of your family, would YOU like YOUR salary cut in half or more?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
How much can I really afford? How much am I actually willing to spend? Do I have an idea to follow? Am I expecting the artist to come up with a concept? Do I have a strict timeline?
