What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a muralist, my rates typically range between $40 to $60 per square foot, depending on the complexity, location, surface preparation, and overall scope of the project. I offer free consultations to better understand your vision and provide an accurate quote tailored to your needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Consultation – We start with a conversation (in person or virtual) where you share your ideas, the space, and the vision you have in mind.
Site Visit & Measurements – I visit the location (if possible) to take measurements, assess the surface, and understand lighting and environment.
Concept & Design Proposal – Based on your input, I create a custom design or sketch for your approval. Revisions can be made to make sure it aligns with your vision.
Quote & Agreement – Once the design is approved, I provide a detailed quote based on size, complexity, and materials. A deposit is usually required to begin.
Scheduling & Execution – We schedule the project dates. I then begin creating the mural, keeping you updated throughout the process.
Final Review & Touch-Ups – Once complete, we review the mural together. I make any final touch-ups and ensure you're fully satisfied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a multidisciplinary artist with over 20 years of hands-on experience across various mediums. My work spans mural graffiti, airbrush art, tattooing, painting, and sculpture, allowing me to adapt to a wide range of artistic styles and surfaces. While my training has been largely self-directed and developed through real-world projects, I’ve spent decades refining my craft through continuous practice, collaboration with other artists, and work in both public and private spaces. My diverse skill set allows me to bring unique vision, precision, and creativity to every project I take on.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My journey as an artist began at a young age with a passion for drawing and expressing myself visually. I started with graffiti and street art, which gave me a deep appreciation for working on large-scale surfaces and connecting with communities through public art. Over the years, I expanded into other disciplines like airbrushing, tattooing, painting, and sculpting—each one adding a new layer to my creativity and skill set. What started as a form of self-expression grew into a professional career driven by a love for transforming spaces and telling stories through art.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including homeowners, businesses, interior designers, developers, restaurants, galleries, and public institutions. Whether it's a custom mural for a private residence, branding artwork for a commercial space, or public art in urban environments, I tailor each project to meet the unique goals and style of the client. I’m experienced in collaborating closely with individuals as well as teams, always ensuring the final result brings their vision to life.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my most recent projects is a large-scale mural in Wynwood, spanning approximately 6,000 square feet. The mural explores the theme of the jungle and power animals, brought to life through vibrant colors, bold compositions, and entirely custom designs created by me. This project is a powerful example of my ability to transform large spaces into immersive, energetic visual experiences that reflect both nature and personal symbolism.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a muralist or artist, it's important to look for someone whose style and approach align with your vision. Take the time to review their portfolio to ensure their previous work demonstrates skill and consistency, and make sure they have experience with the specific type of project you're looking for—whether it's a large mural, airbrush work, or custom sculptures. Be clear about your expectations, including budget, timeline, and desired aesthetic, and don't hesitate to ask questions about their process. A good artist will offer creative ideas and provide input while also being a good listener to your ideas. Communication and collaboration are key to achieving a final result you’ll love.
