What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

New customer are strongly urged to send pictures of the item(s) or area to the business email address for a more accurate estimate. If needed, our Prime Contractor will ask to see the piece(s) or area in person for more challenging or larger jobs. New customers are also asked to consider that work may be done onsite or offsite; whichever yields the best results for the client or for the finish.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When refinishing your furniture, cabinetry, or other beloved wood piece in your life, think of everything wrong with it. Certain wood finishers are very limited in their education and techniques. Perhaps your great grandmothers marble top end table is cracked and exceeds your wood finishers expertise. Perhaps he can only restore the finish leaving the cracked marble top to remain old and broken looking; not so restored as the rest of the piece. Look at the big picture. KNOW what you want to accomplish. KNOW what you want your piece to look like in the end. Know your wood finishers range of expertise. Make sure it is a tradesman and not a DYI-er.
