What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The pricing depends on the condition of the area to be refinished and the material used to cover it. Of course, we always make sure there is a solid base or we undercoat/prime. When painting an entire interior or exterior, Top Quality paint (according to Consumer Reports) is included FREE !

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will examine the project, give a written estimate, after its accepted, only a professional will be doing the work, in fact - the same one that gave the estimate. We never hire day laborers.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Started painting with my grandfather in 1966, was a certified painting instructor for the Israeli Ministry of Labor, wrote the DIY/Home Repair Column for Hollinger Paper and The Jerusalem Post for over 9 years. Am a 5 Star rated painter by HomeAdvisor, Angie, Networx, and here on Thumbtack with over 200 reviews.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Family business. I started at 6 years old! Just like some of my own children and grandchildren!

What types of customers have you worked with?

Only nice ones. people that know what quality work is and are looking for a professional.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We removed wallpaper from a living room / dining / and bathroom, then repaired the walls and painted. 18 Bifold doors were also done and 4 of them were never painted since being installed in the early 70's. All of the work came out amazing and we finished in 4 work days. Of course, we vacuumed after we finished the work!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check their experience and check on whom is doing the work. Make sure products used are not where painters get the best prices or kickbacks, but where Consumer Reports Magazine says!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Are they looking to have the work done once and last a long time or have it done again and again.
