Introduction

"Immaculate Services, Performed With Integrity" Diamond Painting originated around the central idea of integrity. Through 20 years of working for various companies, the two founders realized that the idea of integrity was not easily found in this industry, it was lacking in one form or another. Integrity of work and integrity of character are both required to be worthy of the trust of a customer. Using only top grade materials, doing proper prep work, not taking shortcuts, being honest and upfront with the customer about costs, having craftsmen of only high moral character and good attitudes, and clear communication throughout are just a few of the core values that Diamond Painting was built around and still upholds today. Diamonds have integrity, and Diamonds are immaculate! Our goal is to give every single customer an immaculate finished product, exhibiting integrity throughout the entire job.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
There are no hidden fees in our pricing. All of the material needed for your job is priced into the original quote and it will not change even if more is needed than anticipated. The only way your contract amount will change is if you choose to add additional work that was not included in your original contract. We offer a discount for military and emergency workers such as law enforcement and firefighters. We typically fall somewhere in the middle with pricing compared to other companies. We are not the least expensive because we use quality materials but we are not the most expensive either because we strive to give you a price that is fair.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our typical process is to first come out for on-site estimate. At that time we discuss options with the customer to make sure that we have a good feel for what their vision is for their home as well as provide consultation for colors etc. We typically write up the estimate and give it to the customer before we leave. We give detailed quotes so that the customer knows exactly what they're going to get. Upon being hired, as well as throughout the entire job, communication with the customer is essential. We will always keep them informed of where we are at in the project as well as what to expect and address any concerns or questions that may arise during the project immediately. We do a final walk-through with the customer at the end of the job to be 100% sure that it has been done to their complete satisfaction. After we leave, we Stand by our work and our warranty. Our customers often tell us that they are customers for life and call us back for all of their applicable home Improvement needs :-)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have 20 years experience in this line of work. I have ample knowledge and experience in carpentry, sheetrock, exterior and interior painting, specialty finishes such as faux, cabinet painting, brick painting, decks, among many others. I have worked with insurance companies so I know how to submit your estimate in wording that will be accepted for your insurance claim (if applicable). I also have training in most all sherwin William's product specifications as well as Berh products and the appropriate application and warranty that they come with.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have been in this business for about 20 years and eventually developed a passion for improving the painting business. There just didnt seem to be enough integrity in pricing, product, or communication with the customer. I started Diamond Painting and my company dedication is to provide integrity, in work and character, from the time of my first contact with the customer until the job is complete.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with many types of customers. New homeowners who want to make their house more home with paint, those looking to prepare their homes to sell, customers who simply want a change or to freshen up or maintain, commercial properties, among many others. Every customer is unique and has different tastes in color, as well as different needs and priorities for their homes. I've worked with many personalities and enjoy making them all lifelong customers in the Diamond painting family one by one.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project I was found of was a lady who had very unique decor in her home and when we arrived the walls were all white. It was so much fun working together to choose the perfect colors to accent all of the unique and colorful decorations in her home. It was a full interior repaint and crown installation throughout the downstairs and took about 4 days. Some of her color choices were very bold but worked really well in her house. I enjoy the transformation that paint provides. This project looked vastly different than when we arrived and was the perfect fit for her home.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would strongly suggest reading customer reviews. Also, visiting the website of the company (link on thummbtack) can offer good information about the company you are considering. I would recommend asking questions about your job at your estimate and be sure they sound knowledgeable on the topics mentioned. Some good questions, for example, would be what types of products (paint, caulk, ect) do they use and what makes the products the best choice for your project. You could ask about their procedure and any warranty that comes with their work and with the products they will be using. Also, be sure you feel very comfortable with the company before proceeding. Diamond painting offers a 2 year warranty on all labor and we use lifetime warranty paint and 60 year caulk. If the product should fail (even after the labor warranty has passed) we will handle everything with the paint company for you until you are taken care of. At your estimate, your needs and project will be discussed thoroughly so that you know exactly what to expect from our procedure, products and crew. Doing right by our customers and their satisfaction is our main goal (please check out our reviews). This goal does not end after payment; we will return to touch up if you notice an imperfection in our work after completion. Having high standards has created life long customers that call on our company for all of their painting needs.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It would be beneficial to consider the times that you are available for an on site quote, color choices, the extent of the work you would like to have done, desired schedule for the work to be completed, and HOA process for color approvals. Here at diamond painting we provide free color consultation at your estimate to help with these decisions if desired and if necessary we can help you work with the HOA to expedite the approval process. We have a flexible estimate schedule to work with your availability. And will work with you to get your job completed during a time that works best for your needs.
