I have been in the industry for over 15 years as a Painter producing thousands of residential repaints. I have personally painted homes and only allow the best tradesman on my team. All of our painters work exclusively for Modern Oak Painting and have gone through extensive training to provide the highest level of quality.

I come from a family of Home builders. I have been on just about every construction crew you can think of and have worked in about every position that a painting company has to offer. I LOVE painting. It has become an obsession of mine to produce the highest level of quality on both exterior and interior repaints. From understanding and using the latest technology and products, to working with the veterans and learning old techniques, we are always striving for the highest level of quality!

We recently painted an exterior in North GA and it was amazing to see the transformation. We met with the new owners of the home and they were not happy with the current color or condition of the exterior. We provided them with a detailed proposal and customized it to fit their budget. the project took 4 days all together. The first day we power washed the entire exterior and gave it a full day to dry. On the second day we began prepping and scraping and removing all loose and failing paint. after that we masked all unpainted surfaces and began repairing all failed caulking (Gaps, Cracks, and nail holes). Because the home hadn't been maintained we had to remove and replace several pieces of trim and siding that had rotted out before painting. Once the home was completely prepped and ready for painting we began painting all of the body spraying and overlapping wet on wet coats. Once the body was painted we then began painting all of the trim and accent colors. By the fourth day we had minimal cleanup and touch up and by the afternoon we walked through the finished product with the customers to ensure 100% satisfaction.

It can be hard to find the right contractor that you feel comfortable with. I always recommend getting multiple quotes and getting to know each company. Being licensed and insured is a must! Making sure you do your research on the products that are being used (Paint, Primer, Caulking, etc...) For me its all about prep work. The products that you use will not mater if the home is not prepped properly!
