Introduction

Compare my murals to my competition and you'll see you can count on me to create the precise rendition of the image you want; whether it's children's disney characters or peter rabbit, an entire room themed out to look like an underwater world, or a replica of the inside of the Paris Opera House, there's no comparison to my attention to detail and precision. My murals reflect exactly what my clients want. I work closely with them to create a mural design that will include items special to them, as well as themes they want to create the rooms they desire.

Q&A

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I either paint murals directly on the walls or ceilings or on canvas to be installed with wall paper adhesive. I either paint the mural on canvas in the studio then install it on location, or prepare the canvas in the studio, then install it and paint the mural on location (like the Paris Opera House mural featured here). With the proper wall preparation, murals on canvas can be removed and re-installed in new locations, protecting my client's investment and making their mural a truly last a lifetime.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are thinking about a mural, first look at the room you are interested in painting and determine which wall is the focal wall of the room; find that by walking into the room and taking note of which wall or walls you see first - that can be your focal point of your mural, or where you can feature your most important part of the mural. Often people want to paint the whole room with a mural, which is beautiful, but you can also paint only the focal wall or parts of the room if you are trying to work within a particular budget. Next, collect the measurements of the walls you want the murals on, as well as any imagery of things you like and might like to include in the mural design. I can always find resources for your mural, but having things you like to start with is very helpful. Also take pictures of the room and the furnishings you have or are planning, along with any fabrics you have or are planning; these will help determine the color palette of the mural. I usually meet with clients to create a proposal for the mural but these items help you help me get started.
