I've been helping a friend with his business of home renovations for a few years and really enjoyed the painting jobs he needed help on. After a while of painting with him I've decided to start my own business focusing on interior painting. When I paint I look at it from a customer's point of few and don't take shortcuts.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Interior painting costs depends on height, length, condition of the walls, and what all is needed to get done. I can supply the paint but if the customer supplies I recommend Behr. I also charge for moving furniture $20 per. I hope this information helps and thank you for choosing my services. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

In person estimate and after I send the price we start with the job. I charge by the job not by the hour.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Buy paint from reputable brands like PPG Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams. These companies let you pick the color online and tell you what stores has that color so you can pick it up. Don't go cheap on paint it. I give a flat rate and don't work hourly so I want to do the job quickly and efficiently and leave great results. If you want me to use old paint you had sitting around or paint that's very cheap I can't make that promise to you that the end result will be that. Cheap paint will also make the job take longer and could be more costly overall.
