Introduction

I spent years trying to change my art style and deviate from my innate abilities, but I’ve changed my perspective and have come to embrace and love the organized chaos of my artwork. I have a different approach to my artwork: envision the colors, establish the main goal, execute, and finish off with the details. I heavily value using symbolism within my artwork as well. Take a look at my recent artwork, if you enjoy the style, reach out and I would love to collaborate on a beautiful mural or custom painting for you or for your business.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I require a 50% deposit prior to any design creation. This deposit goes towards your final price. If you request a drawing, I will not create it until I have received $200. Designs are only free if you follow through with the project and hire me as your artist. My pricing starts at $20 per square foot and adjusts based on the following: - surface texture roughness (the smoother, the lower) - detail level (the less delicate detail, the lower) - equipment required All surfaces are expected to be prepped prior to artwork being painted.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Every commission is treated with the same process. I like to get to know my customers on a deeper level and truly understand their style and motivations. These fine details are an incredibly important step in the process to creating a one of a kind piece that speaks to YOU. Each painting typically takes at least a course of 1-2 months. Typically it takes about a month to develop the rough draft, make desired edits, and purchase materials. Painting typically takes anywhere from 1 day to weeks of work… all depending on size, surface texture, and detail level.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Lifelong painter, self taught.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Mural clients, original artwork clients - some having specific designs already, others giving me (the artist) free range of creative freedom. Customers include residential and commercial, both indoor and outdoor spaces.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Ensure you find an artist with a style YOU like. There are tons of artists, and some artists can create more of your vision than others. The reasons clients typically choose me is because of my color pallet I use, the brush strokes, and overall peace felt in the presence of my artwork. I incorporate sentiment to my clients by getting to know my clients prior to creating artwork for them. I believe artwork should be personal; either personal to the artist or to the client.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Art is about what YOU like, and creating something meaningful for YOU. Artwork takes TIME. Each project typically takes at least a 1-2 month process from agreed business to completed painting/mural.
