What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I offer 10% discounts to Seniors, active and retired military, police and fire and single parents

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Get to know them and determine their needs and wants.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Semi retired contractor formerly a licensed builder currently licensed home inspector. With over 40 years in business I think I have pretty seen it all. I have come in behind other "contractors" to fix their mistakes and shoddy workmanship more times that I can count.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

LOL seemed like a good idea at the time about 47 years ago. I guess I have always liked helping people, working for myself and with my hands. Although in working for myself i have learned that my boss is a slave driver and demands perfection.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Everone from the extremely well off to those who have next to nothing. They are all people after all. I especially like helping semiors and those who are mentally challenged because I know that I will treat them honestly and fairly.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I like a challenge and jobs out of the ordinary. Most recently my client did not like the look of vertical spindles on her front porch which needed rebuilding. For safety reasons the space between them has to be than four inches, which is considered the smallest size of an infants head. Together we designed the horizontal and diagonal spacing to satisfy code. And be pleasing to the eye.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at their reviews, for larger projects like roofing. windows siding etc ensure that they have insurance and the proper liscensing

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Is this someone I can trust?
