Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Barry's prices are competitive with other professionals. We have the crews, tools and experience to get the job done right!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
New customers become lifelong customers! That's how we've been in business for almost 60-years. When things need fixed -- Just Call Barry.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
60-years in business. Experts in exterior home maintenance, gutter installation and repair, masonry work, painting and more!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Family business that's grown organically.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We service homeowners and landlords, our main area of focus in St. Louis City and County, but we do travel for larger jobs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
St. Louis storms have been historic, and destructive. Barry's has placed priority on emergency services to ensure our client's home are protected from the rains. Tarping roofs, tuckpointing chimneys, reattaching gutters and downspouts -- all done correctly and affordably.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for a company (vs. an individual) and ensure they have insurance. If they don't show up on time or do what they say they will at the start of the project -- politely move on. It won't get better!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Can you afford the work that you need done? Sometimes the lowest cost option in the moment is the most expensive one in the longrun. Unfortunately a lot of the jobs we take are "do-overs" from sub-par work done at a discount.
