Items are priced per unit to keep your costs as low as possible. Selling your home? We offer incentives that keeps your upfront costs super low and enables you to stage your home for a quick profitable sale! Our clients benefit from free expert color consultations ensuring confidence in design selection. Our process uses industry standards of thoroughly cleaning/degreasing, sanding in between all coats, priming and topcoating fronts and backs of all items with our airless sprayers. We offer clients the option to have their boxes either foam rolled or sprayed. We use the latest in paint technology with ICRO fine Italian waterbased polyurethane 2k system and can match almost any color!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer a homeowner labor discount up to 30% for cleaning, unhanging & rehanging. To save even more, we also have a unique pick up/delivery service (like dry cleaning!) for doors & drawers...homeowner paints boxes & faces and we do doors & drawers!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

1. Get customer info & scope of project by email or phone, 2. Set up in person appointment (due to Covid, we are offering virtual estimates as well), 3. Sign estimate agreement and put down non refundable 20% deposit, 4. Set date, 5. Project Time (5-7 days typically) and final balance due upon completion.

Bachelors in Art, trained by the Hartley Group, Team has over 40 years of painting experience

How did you get started doing this type of work?

With a background in art and many years experience in painting, combined with my passion for home improvement I started A La Carte with a desire to offer a unique alternative to high cost competitors.

We have a wide range of customers but target those who are budget minded!

A small to medium size kitchen takes 5-7 days from start to finish

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Shop around and get several quotes. Make sure their process is correct and they don’t cut any corners.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

1. What’s my budget? 2. Am I willing to put in any prep work to save money or do I want full service? 3. What’s my project timeline? 4. Is there any other carpentry work (fixing or adding in trim, paneling, etc.) that should be done before cabinet painting? 5. Do I have a color in mind or will I need design consultation?
