What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I belong to several national decorator associations and keep topical with changing client preferences and color palettes.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've always enjoyed fine finishing and detailing from the days of my grandfather restoring furniture.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Aside from typical re paints, painting kitchen cabinets and other woodwork has become very popular.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My team and I recently completed a job for an older couple in Charlotte. While the job was extremely difficult and laborious, it haden't been painted since the 60's, the joy of the owners from our restoration of their house was worth every minute on the project.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I encourage all clients to get 2/3 estimated so as to compare the value you get with Beyond the Paint.
