What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I give excellent discounts to military, law enforcement, teachers.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I would meet with them for an estimate. I would ask open ended questions to get a feel for what they were exactly wanting to accomplish. Then I'd give them my professional input on the colors, sheens, textures,etc that I thought would best fit their needs/wants. Finally they'd receive an extremely competitive estimate. After I received a returning call we would set up a time to complete the project and it would be done in a timely fashion. Correct. The first time!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was trained by the best. I also have a BS in business marketing from limestone college(1999)

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I had recently been laid off by the school system. My friend at the gym had a painting business and was tired of just hiring painters. He wanted someone that could run his business while he went back to school. I was his guy! Did that for about 4 years and then took over the business when he finished school and went into his new profession.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've been at it a while so I've experienced every type of customer there is.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We painted the exterior of a brick house. I love painted brick! You can use colors that normally don't look good on walls.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

They charge each of us that you contact so please research pros and contact only the ones you really want to do the work. If you research our reviews you’ll really only need to schedule a couple of quotes.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do I have enough $ for this project? Do I need help(not from paint professional) to move furniture and such out of the pros' way? When's a good time during the day for the pro to do the work without being disturbed too much. What color, sheen do I want?
