What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is roughly based on $15-$20 per square foot but it really depends on the details of each individual job.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to speak to the customer on the phone to get a good feeling of what they are looking for. Then I draw/paint a scale model of the design. Once we are agreed on the design, I can get started, bringing all my own suplies, drop cloths etc.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been creating art all of my life. I have a BFA in graphic art and a masters in creative arts and learning. I opened my studio in 2007 so I could begin teaching art lessons and work full time on perfecting my fine art.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always painted my whole life. Back in 1995 a colleague of my husband asked if I could paint a mural in their home so I did it and loved doing it an just kept going from there

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I painted holiday murals on the windows of a gas station/convenience store in Newburyport, MA and in Exeter, NH. They were very detailed painting of each city and took me aprox. 4 days at each location.
