What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I can price by the job or jobs and by the hour . I consult on design and space planning by the hour as well. I have severial resources for specility work like Electrial , plumbing,flooring,etc .I get any job done right.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We meet to see the job and approximate price . If we agree I ask for a 50% deposit or for many small projects I work for $75. per hr

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Parson School of Design, New York University, 3 patents, I have been in carpentry and painting my whole life and for over 25 year doing design and fabrication of cabinets as well .

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After design school I have worked with space plannning and design companys then started my own business painting offices and getting my hands dirty !

What types of customers have you worked with?

Mostly high end realtors for painting and private clients for designing and building cabinets . I help large contractors doing punch list Items in all materials to help them move to another job.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The architect had designed a kitchen that needed modifications and installation . I had to carve the custom counter top to fit the sink placment and fit all the cabinets in a slighetly smaller space around the window . The client had a shape eye and he was very pleased at the results.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Does he do finished work and how detailed . Can he offer severial suggestions on how to give you what you want and does he listen ! How experienced is he . Look at a wide varity of his work and ask for names of people he has worked for on how they worked together.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What will you want to see at the end . How will it work for you . Do you have a clear Idea of what you want and are you open to suggestions that might be an improvement ? Sometimes simple is better and less costly.
