Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Every project is unique which is why we will begin with an initial call/meeting to discuss the specifics of your project. From there, I create your personalized estimate. Dependent on the amount of services in a single project, I offer bundle pricing spanning from 10-20% off. Minimum pricing for all services begin at $175. MURALS - Please note that custom designed murals with on site painting typically start at $1000. Every project is different, so please let me know the budget you’re working with to best accommodate your project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
All projects, regardless of if the client is new or returning, will start with a complimentary call via Google Meet to discuss the specifics of the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
For the past four years, I've worked in the professional painting industry, first with esteemed paint brand Farrow&Ball and then national painting company Precision Painting Plus as a Project Estimator and Manager. With Farrow&Ball, I honed my skills and knowledge in color specialty specific to interior and exterior painting, receiving extensive training in the science and chemical makeup of paint as well as color theory and psychology. During my time as an Estimator with PPP, I put that training to great use as my painting team and I worked on 250+ projects in the Tri State area, specializing in design focused and luxury residential, historic restoration and commercial retail projects. In tandem with my work in the trade, I have been a career artist since graduating high school at 18 and have worked professionally in various mediums across the visual and performing arts.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I am self taught in the visual arts. In 2018, I began painting antique furniture and small pottery and selling pieces on Etsy. In 2020 when the pandemic hit, I began experimenting with air dry clay and my immense love of sculpture was born. My sculpted works have been featured in NY + NJ galleries and have manifested in small jewelry pieces, table top busts and large scale installations. Working in paint and color paired naturally with my skills as an artist.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Residential/private clients Commercial retail Interior Designers + Architects Small business owners Fellow art driven individuals

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be sure the professional you're working with has a clear grasp of the components of your project - timeline, desired style and feel, any potential obstacles in terms of on site work, scheduling, etc. These factors should be clearly communicated not only through a call/meeting but also in the estimate/contract you have with them before working. Communication is number one to manage expectations on both the professional's and client's sides and ensure a successful project.
