What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing reflects high-quality work done safely and cleanly. I’m not the cheapest — I focus on doing things right the first time. I offer bundle pricing for multiple services done on the same visit (e.g., mounting a TV, installing a light, and hanging art). No hidden fees — all labor pricing is upfront and clear.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First, I’ll get a clear understanding of the work needed — either through a message, photos, or a short call. Then I’ll provide a firm quote and schedule a time that works for you. I arrive on time, complete the job efficiently, and clean up when done. Communication and respect are key from start to finish.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have nearly 20 years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling and home improvement. Over time, I’ve developed deep knowledge of electrical, finish carpentry, smart home installs, and quality interior painting. My work always follows code and best practices.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started as a helper in the trades in my early 20s and worked my way up over the years. I’ve always enjoyed problem-solving and working with my hands, and I take a lot of pride in delivering work that lasts and looks clean.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with homeowners, renters, landlords, and real estate agents — anyone who needs dependable help with small home upgrades or fixes. Most of my customers want quality over quick-and-cheap, and they appreciate communication and transparency.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently mounted two TVs with hidden cables, installed a smart thermostat and doorbell, and swapped out three light fixtures in one visit for a customer. Everything came out clean and level, and the customer was thrilled. Took just under 5 hours total.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don’t just go with the cheapest option. Ask if the person is experienced, if their work follows code, and if they guarantee their work. Saving $30 up front isn’t worth redoing it later.

What’s the exact scope of the job (how many items, what size, any special requests)? Do you have clear access to the work area? Do you already have the materials/devices (TVs, faucets, fixtures, etc.)? Are there any wall or electrical conditions I should know about? The more details you can provide, the smoother and faster the job will go.
