Introduction

After receiving my Bachelors of Science in Painting, I spent the last eleven years working professionally as an artist, working on commission pieces that ranged from children's book illustrations, to custom portraits and wall murals. My projects have spanned several styles, from realism to fantasy. I am experienced in working with watercolor, and acrylic. I love painting and the creative process!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently completed a full set of illustrations for a children’s book published by Sawdust Publishing. The project included 32 pages of artwork and involved a collaborative process from start to finish. We began with a photo shoot to capture reference images, followed by detailed pencil sketches for each illustration. Once the drafts were approved, I moved into the painting phase, which took about six months. Altogether, the project spanned approximately nine months and was a wonderful experience—one of my favorite projects to date.
