What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our labor rate is less then the state average. We make our pricing based on each customers needs not a flat rate. Example someone might just need walls painted that have no drywall repair needs while someone else may have several problem areas that need additional work. Best is to have a in person quote done or send me pictures of the area for a real price.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We prefer to meet our client in person and view the area or areas to be painted prior to providing a quote. This enables us to provide the best price. Also, all parties are clear as to timelines and expectations.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have been painting and refinishing furniture for 20 plus years. I trained with a pro woodworker i knew when i moved into my fixer upper to save me money, I then trained the rest of my team and opened the company.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I bought a "fixer upper"! I had no choice but to learn how to do all kinds of home improvement and found out that I loved it and was good at it to. Thus the company name painting plus 66, the 66 stands for the indoor and outdoor work we can do. As of now we are up to 66 different things.

All types!! We help homeowners and companies

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We helped a lovely family get there farm ready for a wedding, we painted all the barns and cleaned one out where the reception was held. It turned out beautiful took 3 days

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you don't feel comfortable with the pro you are thinking of hiring trust your instincts and give them no information or money up front. Always explain exactly what you want done

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Always ask for a time line as to when the job will be done and make sure you have a budget that will get the job done correctly
