What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We usually price the job out by Door and Drawers and the cabinets boxes are included in the price plus paint and materials and any other add-ons.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Find the scope of work, if they want new hinges and handles. What color scheme they are looking for and will that look good with the current colors of the surrounding kitchen. What type of time line. What other types of project they need done such as countertops/ back splash, lighting-electrical, plumbing. We do have local contractors that we have built a solid relationship with to help in this process.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have been trained by the Kitchen Cabinet institute and have trained under many master Drywallers and Painters in the Industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started by painting furniture, making custom furniture and painting the furniture I made. Custom Drywall repair of damaged drywall and then painting the repairs. Please go to our facebook page to see hundreds of pictures of before and after, furniture making and painting projects. Will also give you a glimpse of a few picture of what our equipment looks like with our dry racks and in stage pictures of other customers jobs.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with custom home builders, commercial office space and whole house make-overs. We specialize in Kitchen cabinets painting - taking the stain finish to a painted finish. We have also painted exterior houses and Decks. We pride our selves with our state of the are equipment and our 99.9% hepa filter sander/vacuum system.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Most projects are 4 to 5 days to take down, clean, sand, degloss, prime and paint. Following week- same process in our shop and paint in our paint booth. Let cure for two weeks. then one day to install back in your house.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask about the process of which they are going to use before they paint the cabinets? What primer and paint they are using? What is the curing process? If they are painting the Boxes of the Cabinets and taping off, what will they do when the tape takes the wall paint off and are they repainting the kitchen walls? If it is a cheap price then they are cutting corners somewhere, just not telling you how.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Have a plan of what your budget is going to be and remember to include paint cost and other materials. what other projects need to be done either before or after.
