What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Executive Restoration & Remodeling, we follow a structured and transparent process to ensure every project starts with clarity and confidence. Here's what you can expect when working with us:
1. Initial Contact
Your journey with us begins when you reach out to discuss your project needs. During this first conversation, we’ll collect key details such as the type of service you’re looking for, the size of your property, and any specific goals or requirements you may have.
2. On-Site Consultation
After we understand the general scope, we’ll schedule an on-site visit at a time that’s convenient for you. This in-person consultation allows us to thoroughly assess the property, take accurate measurements, and discuss your vision in detail. We’ll also answer any questions you may have and provide insight into available options.
3. Customized Estimate
Typically within 7 business days of our site visit, we’ll deliver a detailed, written estimate. This proposal will include the scope of work, anticipated costs, and projected timelines. We believe in clear, competitive pricing, and we’re always open to revising the estimate to align with your preferences and budget.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of our favorite recent projects was a full gut and remodel of a classic home in coastal Rhode Island. The homeowners wanted to preserve the charm of the original architecture while modernizing the space with high-end finishes and improved functionality. It was a complete transformation—from foundation to finishes—and the project took just under 16 weeks from demolition to final walkthrough.
The scope included reconfiguring the layout to create an open-concept living area, expanding the kitchen, and adding a primary suite with a spa-inspired bathroom. We installed wide-plank white oak hardwood flooring throughout, custom inset cabinetry with soft-close hardware, and topped the kitchen island with a stunning slab of Calacatta Gold marble. All appliances were Sub-Zero and Wolf, paired with Waterworks fixtures for a clean, timeless look.
The bathrooms featured floor-to-ceiling Carrara marble tile, radiant floor heating, and custom glass enclosures. We also added energy-efficient Marvin windows, upgraded insulation, and integrated smart home features, including Lutron lighting and Nest climate control.
What made this project special wasn’t just the materials—it was the balance between preserving character and delivering modern luxury. The final result exceeded the client’s expectations and remains one of the most refined homes we’ve had the privilege of bringing back to life.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Start by doing your homework. Research potential contractors thoroughly—look beyond just their website. Read reviews, check third-party platforms like Google and Better Business Bureau, and pay close attention to the consistency of feedback from past clients. A strong reputation built on transparency, reliability, and quality workmanship is one of the most important indicators of a trustworthy provider.
Don’t hesitate to ask for references, and when possible, request to visit completed projects or view a detailed portfolio. Seeing the quality of their work firsthand will give you a better understanding of their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ability to execute on vision.
When discussing your project, pay attention to how they communicate. Are they clear, honest, and engaged? A provider who listens, asks the right questions, and offers thoughtful solutions is far more likely to deliver a positive experience from start to finish.
While pricing is certainly important, it should never be the sole deciding factor. The lowest bid might save you money upfront, but poor workmanship can cost far more down the road in repairs, delays, or replacements. Instead, focus on long-term value—hire someone who offers competitive pricing without cutting corners.
Look for a team that stands behind their work, offers a warranty, and takes pride in doing things right the first time. That level of professionalism and commitment is what leads to quality results and peace of mind.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What is the overall goal of your project? Clearly define what you want to achieve, whether it's improving functionality, increasing property value, or simply creating a more aesthetically pleasing space.
What is your budget for the project? Establishing a realistic budget will help you narrow down your options and avoid unexpected costs.
Do you have any specific design preferences or requirements? Think about your desired style, materials, and any functional considerations you may have.
What is the timeline for completing the project? Determine if you have any deadlines or constraints that need to be factored into the planning process.
Once you have a good understanding of your project goals, it's helpful to research potential contractors and visit their completed projects. This will give you a sense of their workmanship, experience, and the types of projects they specialize in. You can also inquire about the cost of similar projects to get a better idea of what to expect in terms of pricing.
