Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are a full-service painting company. Our pricing includes paint, materials, and labor. When you book an onsite estimate, we will take all measurements, get an understanding of your specific project needs, then provide you with an estimate. Currently we are running a discount of $200 off your project of $1,500 or more.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When you submit an estimate request you will here from me within the day to discuss your project details. This allows us to get a good understanding of your project before we meet you onsite. After the set-up call, you will receive a call and text from me 1 hour before your appointment. Then, we will gather all your project details during the onsite estimate. After that, we will see when you would like to be on the schedule and start your project!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have over 100 of combined years of painting and remodel experience amongst our team. We respect the trade and have reverence for the craftsmanship.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started as a family business and expanded out on my own in 2017! We have been remodeling and painting homes in California and Texas for most of my life!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All types! Everyone is welcome.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We love to big color changes. We recently just finished a project where all the walls were a deep red color. Red is the hardest color to cover-up. The deep base poses struggles if it is not prepared correctly. The first step that we did on this project is prime all the walls with a grey tinted primer. Grey tinted primer covers up the red perfectly and allows us to place the top coat and have it shine! We added a great white to the walls, Snowbound from Sherwin Williams. Overall, the transformation was great and it feel awesome to transform homes with drastic color changes.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advise is simple. Use your best judgement. If the person doing the estimate does not give you the confidence that they will finish the project per your satisfaction, don't take the risk. We have fixed many projects from other contractors where the client felt something was a little off at the beginning but they still went with them because the price was so competitive.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
There are a few "starter" questions I would think through. 1. Will this company be able to finish the project in the timeframe that I need? 2. Are they insured? 3. Do I trust that they will do a good job? (From initial contact to estimate, generally you have a "gut" feeling, trust that judgement)
