What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

we count the doors and drawers. Will they choose latex, oil or lacquer. will job be done at shop or on premises. Usually day of estimate all options are discussed before hand.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

professional, friendly, honesty, I explain the entire step by step process from start to finish.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My family owned a paint company while I was growing up. I started at the age of 16 and been in the painting industry ever since.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Family business. I've been painting since the age of 16. Started painting cabinets 1999

What types of customers have you worked with?

Home owners, realtors, general contractors, government, military, doctors, law enforcement, interior decorators, attorney's, HOA, school districts, commercial project management, book authors, also two famous actors as well.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The last project was a kitchen and 3 baths, it took approximately 10 days using an oil finish and 3 different colors. The doors were sprayed off premises at my shop. Oil takes 24 hours in-between coats to dry.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please be careful a lot of inexperienced painters out there. Check reviews, before & after photos, website, social media and ask lots of questions.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I would ask if they have insurance, is your company name registered in the state which work is to be performed. This can be verified online. Also check their company email.
