Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
at Garage Revamp we pride ourselves on making sure our pricing is competitive. Every floor is different so we always strive to see the quality of the floor and then discuss the project in detail.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1. We call the customer to understand the project detail. 2. We meet at the job location to see the condition of the floor, pick color options, and finalize rate.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Concrete coating certified- 8 years. Polished Concrete certified 4 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got into the business through a friend 12 years ago and after learning from him I went to get trained and certified by the manufacturer of the product and every year I take refresher training because the industry keeps changing.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with various customers with residential garage floors, airport hangars, schools, hospitals and industrial floors.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We installed a polyaspartic floor coating at an Airport hanger. The floor was 40,000sqft and the customer wanted white floor coating. The project took 4 days to complete and the customer was very happy with how it turned out.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
* Pricing is only one part of it. The contractor needs to know how to handle any challenge that comes up on the job. Have good people interaction skill, and work on every floor like it's their own floor.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
size of the floor, how soon are they looking to get the project done. Beside price what else is important to them.
