What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process at Twin Buds Painting begins with an initial inquiry, during which we gather your contact information and an overview of the project’s scope. We then schedule a convenient time for either an on-site or virtual estimate. After completing the estimate, we work with you to coordinate project dates, and we’ll provide a service agreement for your review and signature.
On the scheduled start date, you can count on Twin Buds Painting to arrive on time, ready to work with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. We place great emphasis on prep work—it’s essential for a high-quality finish, so we address it meticulously right from the start. Throughout the project, our project managers will check progress and provide updates to you at least once or twice daily.
Upon project completion, we’ll walk through the space together to ensure you’re fully satisfied with our work. After completing any requested touch-ups, we accept final payment, welcoming yet another satisfied customer into the Twin Buds Painting family.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Twin Buds Painting was founded by twin brothers David and Daniel Michelsen, whose journey began when David started painting during his college years. After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, David, alongside Daniel, transformed a weekend hobby into a professional enterprise, establishing their first LLC, Twin Buds Painting. Both founders share a passion for building and growing the business, grounded in their commitment to quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service—principles they believe are essential to creating a successful and trusted painting company.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One recent project we're especially proud of is the full repaint of the Test America offices at North Star Shopping Center. This project allowed us to showcase our attention to detail and commitment to quality in a commercial setting, and we’re thrilled to have contributed to revitalizing the workspace of such a respected organization.
