As avid collector car enthusiasts we got involved in this industry whilst remodeling our own garage space. It soon became clear that there we many options for clients to choose form especially when it comes to floor coatings. Unfortunately not all coatings are created equal and many suffer high failure rates and the resultant short lifespan. We have established the very best in floor coating products and our extensive experience in this area allows us to offer a floor that lasts a lifetime at a fair cost. We have done hundred of floors in San Antonio over that last 7 years and seeing people’s reaction to their beautiful “new” garage never grows old!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We generally price our services based on square footage as well as the type of coating the customer requires. All our preparation is the same for all our coating systems but there can be a big difference in price per system and the quality of the coatings.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically after we have made contact with a potential client we will schedule a no-cost quotation. This allows us to properly evaluate the project and discuss exactly what the client is looking for in a finished product. We will give the client a firm quotation there and then, not an estimate. We will stand behind our quoted price! If the client agrees to the project we will then complete a contract with them choosing a date for the installation from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

To be proficient with our products an applicator needs to be properly factory trained not only in the application of the products but also the safe handling use of the coating chemicals. Over the years we have been used as a training location for new applicators to learn our trade. Our staff have many years experience and are an invaluable resource for new applicators. If there is ever an issue we have probably seen it and dealt with it. That is why we are a preferred Training location. We are proud to have helped so many people join our industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started in this industry after wanting to get my own garage coated. At the time there were very few people servicing the residential market with true industrial quality floor coatings. This spurred me to start a floor coatings and garage remodeling company and Scott Garage Concepts was born!

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with a wide variety of clients from commercial customers to local government, builders and of course home owners. We do light commercial projects but specialist in the residential market.
