What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process involves initial contact to understand the customer's needs, followed by a discovery phase where we prepare a proposal outlining the scope, timeline, and cost estimates. Once the proposal is accepted, we draft a formal contract, develop a project plan, execute, monitor and report progress to the customer. After completion, we conduct a final review to ensure satisfaction and provide necessary support.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Together, my business partner and I possess almost two decades of combined experience in the painting industry. While I have extensive experience selling paint jobs and collaborating with project managers, my partner's background includes working for industry leaders such as Sherwin Williams, giving him a deep understanding of paint and its nuances. Our combined experience in the customer service industry totals 40 years, which has equipped us with a strong ability to serve our clients with professionalism and dedication.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My interest in the construction industry and my love for working with my hands drew me towards pursuing a career in painting. As I gained experience in the field, I recognized the importance of customer service and the value of business operations, which eventually inspired me to establish my own painting company. Presently, I take immense pride in providing top-notch painting services to my clients while continuously enhancing my skills and knowledge to keep up with industry standards.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our clientele has encompassed a diverse range of properties, from small condominiums to multi-million dollar residences, and including both residential and commercial properties. We have extensive experience working with a variety of clients, regardless of property size or type.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Our team recently completed an exterior staining project for Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q in Richmond. Our services included refreshing all of the existing stain on the building to give it a renewed look and refinishing the exterior doors that had been previously stained and had worn down over time. The project took approximately five days to complete, and we are pleased to have delivered exceptional results that have left our client satisfied with our work.
