What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

It's simple really, we charge square foot prices low to high. Say for instance: $15.00 Per Sq.Ft for low detail ( simple logos/lettering) We have a $2,000.00 minimum or a 10' X 10' minimum size. Prices go up to $25.00 Per SQ.Ft For high detail. (realistic scenes & very busy images). We charge a flat $250.00 design fee for each mural which is created using professional graphic tools like Photoshop or hand sketching. Research is often implemented to build a historic mural that celebrates a specific town or area. All final signed contracts require 50% down payment on the day of painting with the remainder 50% due upon completion. Additions to the mural above the design approval are subject to additional fees agreeable to both parties.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We establish a clear idea or concept you are looking to attain. We can either measure the area onsite or have those pics sent to us via text, email, watsapp. Once we have the details of the project we will send a quote by text or email, phone call. Then if applicable a design invoice is sent via Paypal. Once payment is received we begin designs. Designs are sent via email or text. You chose the changes if necessary then a contract is agreed with the final quoted price. Once signed a deposit is paid and we begin purchasing materials and start painting the mural. Once complete to your approval, we then require the final payment. Payment of most murals is requested in 2 halves paid by check to our business name. In some instances we may allow partial payment plans.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We continually evolve our style and learn on the job with every new task we take on. We have 12 years of mural painting experience, with professional commercial clients as references. We have worked with varied cities entities. We are both college degree fine artists and we have degrees in graphic design. We adapt to the needs of the client. We also use varied tools: Paint brushes, paint pens, pencils, spray cans, airbrush, HVLP guns, projectors, cranes and scissor lifts, ladders. We use heavy equipment for large scale projects. We also use stencils and only the highest quality exterior professional paint.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We met each other from 2 different continents. Lee is from London U.K Sheri is from Fort Worth Texas. We found each other through a love of scuba diving and that inspired a love of the ocean and the artwork just seemed to progress from there. We are both from graphic art and fine art backgrounds respectively.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with many city officials in a grant capacity where we are hired by the respective cities all across Dallas DFW Fort Worth metroplex. To name a few: City of Mansfield City of Fort Worth City of Burelson City of Forney City of Grapevine City of Benbrook Alongside these clients we most often paint large scale murals for all kinds of commercial and residential clients. Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Our most recent mural - Russell Feed Store in Weatherford Tx. The 'Cutting Horse' cowboy mural took 7 days to complete. It was a huge undertaking! 50' X 25' that's a lot of paint! The scene depicts the Will Rogers Coliseum with rider and calf mid lasso. Attention to detail: The rider is a local rodeo star and the horse is from the Benbrook Stables nearby. The local community love the feel and look of the mural. It is highly detailed almost photo realistic.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please be specific in terms of where the painting is needed and what surface it's on and most importantly the width and height in feet. Doesn't need to be exact just more or less is fine. Please feel free to send us a pic of the wall and any ideas you have. This includes logos or pictures you have found that interest you and may aid us in our design. Please note, the prices we give are honest to the needs of the job at hand.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

So much of our soul and heart goes into every piece, large or small. The finished or completed mural or canvas, is lovingly judged by us over and over, adapted, changed, screamed at and kissed before we send it off into the world. We stand by every piece of art we create. We want to be known for being great, fun loving artists that always deliver the highest quality work. We stand by each and every piece of art we create. The pricing reflects our desire for perfection. Lowballing will result in a poor quality product by someone else that is not as dedicated as we are.
